Our Platform
Through a solutions suite tackling returns, liquidation, and conference donations, we donated over 9.4 million items, equaling an estimated 2.1 million pounds diverted from landfills. In 2023, the total fair market value of this year’s donations is over $29 million from 28 retail and brand donors.
Our network of circularity partners receiving goods reached new heights this year. We’re now available in 1,417 cities across all 50 states to serve our network of 3,600 nonprofits and schools.
Our Recipients
In-kind donations of products are pivotal to a nonprofit's success, especially amid the challenges of navigating stringent and stretched budgets. Using our Free Marketplace and Magic Matches feature, we move goods directly to those in need. Here are some of our favorite stories shared by recipients:
We are deeply inspired by the support of donors like you who share our vision and commitment to creating a world where all college students have access to healthy food. Your generosity enables us to continue our mission and positively impact the lives of all college students in need. We hope to continue partnering with you to support our cause, and together change the lives of many more college students in our communities. Thank you for helping us make a difference!
This lady sat in the chair and cried this morning knowing she was getting a new walker. I gave the last one away today, and the demand is great. So many are unable to afford one. Thank you again.
Thank you so much for this gift! With your help and support, we are able to deliver not only nutritious meals to seniors all across Los Angeles, but also to provide a smile when our seniors need it most.
Our Team
We couldn’t have done it without our amazing team behind the scenes. We offer each employee paid volunteer time to support organizations and causes of their choice. Our tradition of volunteering when our remote team meets in person also continued. This year each employee was given a total of 24 hours to volunteer. We’re grateful to be able to give back in our own communities, including to the following organizations:
- A Meal With Dignity
- Wild Cumberland
- Community Resource Center of Middle Tennessee
- Common Pantry
- Forest Preserves of Cook County
- Friends of the Chicago River
- Rogers and Rosewater
- Caritas of Austin Community Kitchen
- Central Texas Food Bank
- Campaign Against Hunger
Looking Ahead
Our mission is to accelerate the world’s transition to a circular economy through scalable technology solutions. In the world of retail, ~25% of returns are relegated to landfills, and a staggering 15-45 billion garments produced annually remain unsold. This not only results in a squandering of financial resources but also contributes to the wasteful depletion of essential natural resources, like water, lumber, and oil.
LiquiDonate’s emergence in this space is to disrupt this system in a way to benefit all parties. We're looking forward to an even more impactful 2024. Happy New Year!
