Reverie is on a mission to help people live better lives through the power of sleep by creating sleep technology that delivers restorative sleep. LiquiDonate is on a mission to accelerate the world's transition to a circular economy. These complementary companies came together recently in Detroit to convene on sustainability topics for the first time.

Reverie’s 5th Annual Agility Innovation Summit was held in Detroit from September 10-September 12, 2024 and kicked off with a first-ever sustainability module. Presentations were given by LiquiDonate CEO Disney Petit, WATS CEO Meredith Danberg-Ficarelli, and Critical Tier CEO and ex-Nike employee Roger Sklar.

It’s no wonder that the Reverie founders bring people together year after year over innovation, industry, and technology. Since 2003, Reverie has been designing and producing the world’s most technologically advanced adjustable bases.

Disney Petit, CEO and Founder at LiquiDonate focused on how their company’s product helps Reverie and other retail brands simply route their excess inventory and unsellable goods for donation instead of destruction, recovering value for the retailer, people in need, and the planet.

“When unsellable goods and up to 80% of returns end up in the landfill, using software like LiquiDonate’s makes it easy to stop the cycle of costly liquidation flows, landfilling, and incinerating with a real upside.” - Disney Petit

These three CEOs, among many others who spoke and participated, are proud partners or friends of Reviere, a sleep company supporting one single goal: Opening your eyes to the life-changing power of great sleep. It was a simple fit for Reverie to loop in a sustainability module this year as this legacy industry looks to be more innovative, efficient, and prepared for long-term retail trend changes.
